SPRING SEASON • Amongst the Ruins • Wines of the Loire

Our first Wild Wine Club of 2017 was a wonderful adventure.

We were joined by a lovely group of people, who came as strangers and left as friends.

We started the evening off wandering the grounds and enjoying our first course in the sunshine with a lovely sparkling wine. Debbie shared her extensive knowledge of the wines she had selected for the evening.

We meandered the grounds for our second wine, which we enjoyed near the estate's original ice cellar.

The impressive Fir Hill Estate provided a stunning wild environment. We made our way up to the candle-lit long table, where chef Adam Banks and Andi Richardson were cooking up the rest of their wood fired feast.

Wine flowed and laughter continued as the sun set and the stars came out for a spectacular showing.
