Complete this beginner level introduction to wine through four online zoom sessions. We’ll deliver a pack to your door of materials and wine samples, and present live classroom sessions online. You’ll explore the main types and styles of wine through sight, smell, and taste, while also gaining the basic skills to describe wines accurately, and make food and wine pairings.

This course is perfect for anyone who wants to start learning about wine, either for personal interest or for those embarking on a career in wine or hospitality. No prior knowledge is required.
Courses dates:
16th and 17th January 2021
Held over three 2 hr zoom sessions and assessed by a 45 minute online exam.
Saturday 16th January 2021:
10.00-12.00 and 14.00-16.00
Sunday 17th January 2021*:
10.00-12.00 and Exam at 15.00 - 16.15 (45 minute exam with allowance for preparation for remote invigilation)

Examination:
This course is assessed by a 45 minute online-exam compiled of 30 multiple choice questions. The exam is remotely invigilated and requires both a laptop and smart phone to be used during the examination.
